It has been established by examining the scientific and technological bases of metal production processes and research.

Extractive metallurgy degree

Extractive metallurgy is one of the trends in material engineering. which is offered in eight semesters at undergraduate level in universities. Contrary to popular belief, extractive metallurgy has no role in extracting materials from mines. Rather, this stage is related to mining engineering. The specialized part of extractive metallurgy is the separation of pure material from impurities. who left the mine and came to the factory. An extractive metallurgical engineer must master the principles of separating metals from impurities. To be able to achieve the highest efficiency in the metal separation process in the shortest time by spending the lowest cost. According to its processes, metal extraction is divided into two general groups: thermal metallurgy and water metallurgy. The principles of thermal metallurgy are based on melting and water metallurgy is based on mineral dissolution. Most of the metals in nature are in the form of oxides, sulfides, chlorides, and carbonates. The most important step of separating these metals from their ores is their chemical reduction.
